G V Ballet students are back on stage at Westside this November with the delightful, family friendly ballet, Coppelia.
Coppelia is the story of a Toymaker who creates a life sized mechanical doll that the villagers mistake for his daughter. Coppelia is a light hearted , comedic ballet set to the score of Leo Delibes and involves 115 classical ballet students from 4 years of age to 22.
The second half of the annual dance concert is full of entertaining, shorter variations.
These includes One Day In The West performed by Senior and Advanced contemporary students and the search for The Perfect Song for all the Jazz students.
